Mukund Komanduri, MD, FAAOS, attended the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL, and received his medical degree in 1989. Then, he served his internship, general surgery residency, and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center (1989-1994). In addition, Dr. Komanduri received board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the Will-Grundy County Medical Society and the American Medical Association. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
